Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Welcome! I’m Kristen, a pediatric speech-language pathologist with more than 11 years of experience working with children with a variety of speech, language, and feeding needs. I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2015 from Texas Woman’s University and have always enjoyed working closely with children and their families.

I believe effective therapy starts with getting to know the individual child. My approach is personalized, play-based, and grounded in evidence-based practice, with sessions designed around each child’s specific needs, strengths, and interests. I want therapy to be engaging and enjoyable while still being intentional and focused on helping children develop skills they can use in their everyday lives.

As a mom of three, I also understand the importance of having a provider who listens to your concerns and includes you in the process. I value open communication with families and want parents to understand what we’re working on, why we’re working on it, and how they can support progress at home. Above all, I want children to feel comfortable coming to therapy and families to feel confident in the care they receive.
